Giorgio Armani F/W 2018 Classic Flair

In the 1950’s, Italian hair cuts and styles emerged. Hardships of World War II and rationing, was a time of new prosperity. Mass media and the growth of disposable income encouraged the consumption of fashion.

Fast forward to today’s fashion show; I got hired to work and lead the hair team. The hair directive for Giorgio Armani stems its roots from the 1950’s hairstyle but with more lived in textured look finding it paired with style and grace.

A short version of this video was added to communicate with the hair team (along with diagrams) on styling and later discussed in person and shown. Adjustments and final looks were done backstage before the models went on the runway in San Francisco.
